I have a Polar Loop and I originally set my settings as sedentary because I sit at a desk all day, but I was reaching the goal the loop set for me with little difficulty. I changed my settings to moderately active so that I would be motivated to move more. Now, I hardly ever reach the mystery target set by the loop. I recently added a Polar heart rate monitor to this mix. I notice that when I wear the heart rate monitor, I seem to meet my target more easily. Does anyone have an opinion of why this is? Is using the heart rate monitor making the loop more accurate or less accurate? Thanks for helping me think this through!

I have a Loop and I do notice that when I have my HRM synced with it I reach goal quicker, even if I am just walking but my HR is higher is puts me at a jog level so that may be one reason why?? I am interested to see others thoughts.0
