Using rewards to stay on track?

Does anyone have a sort of reward system put in place to help them keep pushing forward with weight loss?
The other day I was browsing some forums, and a girl had a signature that looked like this:
10lbs lost: Manicure
20lbs lost: New running shoes
30lbs lost: New bathing suit
etc.. and the list went from there.
I have a goal set at 60lbs total, and I'm almost at 20 right now. At the end of my weight loss I was going to treat myself to that expensive hair cut / color and a new outfit, but now I'm thinking I should set up rewards along the way?
Do any of you do anything like this?

I think that's a GREAT idea! I keep saying I am going to do the same thing. I've even considered creating a vision board to post pictures of my rewards so I can have a visual motivator.0

I just started here , though this is far from my first time dieting, and was just thinking about setting up a reward system. I think a Mani would be a great gift to myself! Years ago, I used to pass this bagel store on the way to work and being very frustrated with my life then, I used to " treat" myself almost every morning. So, to break that habIt, I took the money I would have spent, and put it aside. At the end of the month I treated myself to a non food treat with the money.0

I reward myself for doing the work, not for the results. So, if I work out, log what I eat, and stay within my calorie goal, I get a reward, like shopping for clothing or watching TV. If I achieve my goals, I feel rewarded and don't need anything else.0
