Your favorite and worst thing about Christmas?

The best thing is being with family; the worst is that it's over too quickly!0

Favorite: Family and friends!
Least favorite: Family and friends!0 -
Best: Being with my immediate family....I love them with all my heart and they love me for who I am...
Worst: Being with the extended family. They all judge me and tend to make me feel worse about my less the mediocre life. If I could skip that part I would, but I hate disappointing the immediate family....0 -
Favorite: The Reason we celebrate and the Family time!
Least: The Expense!0 -
I'm a scrooge. There isn't much I enjoy about the holiday. I guess the best would be the food, the worst is the music. I find Christmas music supremely irritating.0

the best is all the baking and all the food and all the parties and fun!! the worst is that all of that takes place at my house and it's all so expensive!! We keep doing it though, so must be worth it!0

Favorite: Being with my kids and grandkids
Least: My sister0 -
Favorite: Christmas Eve Candlelight Service
Least Favorite:???? I guess Driving. I love going to GA to see my family. I don't love traffic.0 -
-
Favorite: The sparkly things
Least favorite: Consumerism, commercialism. Showing how much you love your kids by buying crap made in China made by slave labor.0 -
Best: It is a very magical time, especially with kids.
Worst: Consumerism0 -
Well I enjoy the mass amounts of food in one day (I give away the excess but eat as much as I manage on that day and new years eve).
I dislike the stomach ache later in the day... And the way all my family and friends try to make me drink alcohol. I don't like alcohol.0 -
The best part of Christmas: Being with family
The worst part of Christmas: Being with the WHOLE family! (I betcha thought I was gonna say the music!!!)0 -
The good: Presents. Im not even going to lie.
Worst: I never seem to have enough money to buy all the gifts I declare "PERFECT" for certain people. (Some day I will win the lottery and everyone I know will get the best xmas EVER.)0 -
The best part is family
The worst is the shopping0 -
Best: The reason WHY we have CHRISTmas
Worse: How materialistic Christmas has became0 -

Onlne shopping saves my hide every year. I cannot deal with crowds.0 -
THE BEST: Watching my kids opening their gifts on Christmas morning. They're teenagers now, but I still love the reactions when they see what they got (plus, they deserve more than we can give - they're amazing).
THE WORST: Spending so much money and the "planning" for eve & day - who's going where, who's bringing what, how much are we spending on those kids vs. those other kids, etc. I can't deal with long-winded conversations and talking through every possible option there is... make a plan and just GO WITH IT!

Favorite: Family, Friends, Food & Fun.
Worst: Christmas Songs & Movies!!!! HATE THEM0 -
Best: exchanging gifts with my husband and parents. I truly am more into giving them stuff...I am really ridiculously excited about the stocking stuffers I chose for my husband, for example. But I like the exchange, we all keep it thoughtful and low-key and have a blast with it.
Worst: holiday parties I'd rather just not attend such as work Christmas lunch, extended family get-togethers, etc. I do say no sometimes, but eh...they just are kind of a drag.0 -
Favorite: The lights! I will take any holiday that includes putting up lights at this dreary time of year. Are there any June holiday's for the southern hemisphere?
Worst: Shopping. Where did all these lunatics come from?! Even grocery shopping is a chore, with that d@mn music drilling into your ears on repeat. I wonder if the CIA ever used Little Drummer Boy to drive out a dictator or torture a terrorist?0 -
Favorite: Family, movies, gifts, food, no school
Worst: Crowds. I live a block away from a huge mall and a major tourist attraction that is known for it's Christmas display. It's insanity. Also, violence and death. It seems like there's a lot of shootings and suicides around the holidays and it makes me sad.0 -
Favourite: Food and family
Worst: Carols and travelling by car.0 -
Too many favorites, but worst is crowds.0
-
Shopping in crowds is the worst, the best is spending time with my family!0
-
Best: Spending time with family, food and drinking
Worse: Consumerism, Christmas music, shopping, crowds, decorating0 -
Best: watching my son and being off work.
Worst: when it's over.0 -
The best is seeing all of my family and our crazy traditions.
The worst is working in retail when everyone else is stressed out doing their shopping and I get blamed for everything, including once (no crap) making a customer's dog die in the car when he got his head in something because 'I took too long to ring them out'.0 -
Best: Chinese restaurants are still open
Worst: The movie theaters are still crowded0 -
The magic of it all. I love it - everything about it. My kids writing their notes to Santa, baking cookies, seeing my girls faces on Christmas morning, getting drunk with my sister. It's all fabulous.0
