College struggle

I have definitely fallen victim to the dreaded freshman 15 except not as a freshman. I am looking for motivation to start my fitness and nutrition when I am home for winter break and hopefully continue throughout the school year.

stress is a big factor (college can be stressful, and a real tax on your willpower and motivation). you can find ways to lower stress levels also (meditation, exercise, not procrastinating, etc).
your stress levels should be much lower after final exams and papers are due, so you should be able to focus on eating right and exercising. so this winter break is a perfect time for you to get into things.0 -
Think of why you want to reach your goals. What is that going to mean to you emotionally? What will that let you do that you cannot do now? How will that affect you and those around you? A strong why will help you overcome any obstacle.
Also, find a great support system. The private support group that I help run on Facebook has been such a big help to me and the other people in there. Just find a place where you can go for advice, encouragement, to share your victories, and your struggles. Community is key.0 -
