42 lbs lost- Unknowingly!

Here's the story.
I started MFP in late September after going vegan, at a weight of around 220 lbs. Yesterday I weighed in at 201. This here is news, I've never lost 20 pounds before in my entire life.
This morning I found an old doctor's order for a blood test from April. I didn't know it had my weight on it when I got it (I don't look at the doctor's), but I noticed this morning it said 243 lbs.
I was 243 lbs in April. I'm still in shock, I have no words.
Anyone else ever have a similar experience?

Great job! Keep up the good work!
After my first month I weighed and was down 13.5 lbs and many inches. I could not believe it! I was really in shock. They weight just kept coming off. It feels so go to be able to do things I could have never pictured myself doing.0 -
i have a horrible habit of being disheartened when i weigh myself. that being said i know want to weigh myself on the 1st of every month...i hope to see a loss that is shocking because I am going to work hard every day! I hope to have a feeling like you did when you realized that you had lost that amount of weight.0
