I have recently stepped back and re-evaluated my lifestyle and eating habits. I am 28 years old and I am currently 100+ lbs overweight. No excuses here, I know I have a lot of obstacles I myself need to overcome, but it would help to have some friends that are positive and uplifting. Day 1 begins today.

Take it one day at a time. Do not try to change too much too quick. Walk as far as you can in 30 minutes every day. I lost 100lbs and have maintained. It is just starting and sticking with it. Good Luck on your Journey

congrats! First step is hard, sticking with it is necessary to be the person you want to be. I am 59 and have been up and down all my life. I have lost 30 since july. If you want to, I would be happy to friend you.

Baby steps are key! Pick one small change, like switching soda for water once a day. When that gets easy, then cut out more soda. When that gets easy, start exercising for 10 minutes a day, like taking a walk. When that gets easy...tackle the next thing. And so on, and so on.

Don't beat yourself up over one mistake. We ALL make them. Learn what caused that slip-up and try to do better next time. If you don't require perfection from yourself, and do your honest best every day, you can do this!

Thank you all. It is hard to change your life into a different direction. Especially when the current one seems so easy. Little changes are helpful and hopefully push me to where I want/need to be. Today I had Green tea for the first time instead of my usual cup of coffee with three creamers and three sugar packs. Not bad at all
