Samsung s health accuracy?

Options
I've been the happy owner of a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 for about two months now. Being able to stream HD YouTube anywhere is great! But with the new device, I've also started using s health.

How accurate is the pedometer on this thing, and the resultant calorie estimate, assuming I give it accurate height and weight figures? The only data I can at all gague accuracy with is my daily walks, which I plotted with map my walk awhile ago at about 5.5 miles, or about 11000 steps. S health seems to meet that metric well enough, with my counts if my walk is the first thing I do every day being around 11000 to 12000.

However, I question if it's overestimating my steps when it's in standby for a long time, like when I'm at work. I get a figure of about 2000 steps per hour worked, or about a mile per hour. Granted, I work retail, and it's a big store, but when I see step counts of 30000 to 35000 at bed time, I question if I can trust this.
