Menopausal and weight gain

I am trying to lose weight but I am finding it impossible to lse and stop grazing. I am menopausal and the weight is increasing at an alarming rate. Any tips or ideas ladies. Thanks :-)

    Yup. There is only one way and it's not too difficult: move more, eat less (or at least food with fewer calories).
    I gained 70 pounds over a 3-4 year period. I blamed menopause, but it was mostly just lack of exercise+eating more than I was burning.

    Our metabolism slows a bit after menopause; our Base Metabolic Rate becomes lower.

    Even just a one pound a month gain adds up over a few years. And that is only an additional 117 calories per day! So, there is no magical solution other than burn more calories per day than you are taking in.

    Luckily, it isn't hard to burn a few hundred calories per day. :)
