What kind of protein power/mix do you use?
I want to begin to make shakes to up my protein level.
I want one that is both filling and not too expensive.

Any suggestions?

Frankly, I worry less about filling and more about protein vs. carb and calorie ratios. I'm always on the lookout for a good one that has a very high protein content for the calories. So far I've tried Cytosport, Premier Protein and Muscle Milk. Muscle Milk doesn't meet my needs because it's a lot more calories than the others, but that might make it more filling, and it's pretty tasty, so you might give that one a try.

I've been using the Muscletech Vanilla Cream protein powder & have used a few other brands/flavors. I usually make a smoothie & add either vanilla yogurt/greek yogurt, almond/coconut milk, a frozen banana, some kind of peanut butter, & maybe Hershey's Unsweetened Cocoa Powder.

Recently I've been taking a little vanilla yogurt, a half scoop of protein powder, & around three tablespoons of peanut butter & using a spoon to mix it in a bowl.

Go to your local gnc and someone can help you there...dont go to stores like walmart and buy there cheap stuff cause it tastes terrible and hard to make smooth so you end up with lots of lumps. I myself use gold standard whey protein vanilla, its not cheap but its great stuff. Gnc's own brand is also very good and they have small bags at around $20
