Fitbit Zip and MFP settings help - how'd you set yours?

For those out there who use the Fitbit Zip (or any Fitbit I guess!), I just recently purchased one and am having a little trouble with understanding what my MFP settings should be and if I should change anything in terms of activity level/pounds per week goal. I'm following the IPOARM -20% TDEE method and was recommended to change my activity level to "Sedentary" as well as weight loss to "Maintain weight" under "Fitness Profile" and set my Net Calorie Goal for the day to 1750. My workout schedule is never consistent, thus the Sedentary option, but I do maintain a lightly active job (enough to qualify as lightly active under the settings).

What I'm wondering is, does it even matter what my activity level is/how much I want to lose when configuring your Fitbit with MFP?
Does the Fitbit calculations with the whole "Fitbit Calorie Adjustment" even matter when it comes to your activity level, whether you're sedentary or active?
Should the Fitbit Calorie Adjustment just be ignored and focus more on just sticking to your Net Calorie Goal?

I bought a fitbit to get a better idea of what I burn daily to have a more accurate calculation from my TDEE.
