needing a boost/motivation

So I had a bad case of the stomach flu last week and lost a bit of what. I'm also in recovery from anorexia and have been working on gaining anyways. I just need motivation and a pep talk or something. I'm scared to restore weight and it's making me want to restrict now so I don't have to gain. I don't want to loss but I'm scared of gaining. I just need a push which is why I'm here.

what if weight wasn't a thing? you probably know your life will be better overall if you gain to a healthy weight, so do the things that will get you there and just focus on being better, happier, healthier, or think about how *kitten* the eating disorder is, you want to stay as far away from that as possible.
i'm dealing with ED, too. it's really really really hard, but it's definitely worth it. the more you fight back against what that voice is telling you, you stronger you get, and it feels amazing.

I don't know if you're lifting or not, but if you do (and if you don't, then you should start), remember that you're gaining MUSCLE, not just weight :)

All the lifting- which means all the feeling like a rock star- comes from having muscle- which means putting on some weight... and don't you want to feel like a rock star??

I mean come on- that's a beast feeling.

    eat all the things.
    lift all the things.

    kick all the a##

Thank you! I'm going to try to start doing that! I lift light weights (I'm fairly weak haha) but I haven't been doing that much. I mostly stuck to cardio but I will start lifting!
