This may be an odd question, but, is it "OK" to exercise while sick? I have a cold and feel a little weak and tired and I am wondering if it inhibits healing if I exercise? I would like to exercise tomorrow but don't want to delay my healing. Do you exercise while sick?

If I don't have a fever, I'll exercise while sick, but I usually don't push as hard. Just make sure to stay very well hydrated, and to stop if you start feeling lightheaded.0

Here's my general guideline:
If I am running a fever- no exercise for me (plus 24 hours after the fever ends).
If I am just generally feeling blah- yes, I try to exercise.
BUT, if I have a cough/congested chest/lungs issue-then no exercise for me. I don't want to risk any of that getting worse.
If it's just a sinus/snot issue, then yes, I try to exercise.0
