Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Fudge!
I make lots of fudge.
This is by far the best fudge I've ever made, and I make damn good fudge
Start by mixing cookie dough
1 cup of Butter
1 cup of Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup of White Sugar
1.5 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 Tbsp Coffee Cream 18%
Mix together
Add in
2 Cups of Flour - I use Robin Hood All Purpose
1 tsp Sodium Bicarbonate (baking soda)
2 Cups of Chocolate Chips - I'm a semi sweet kinda guy - Milk Chocolate will work fine
Blend until nice and creamy
Set Aside
Fudge - Can be used as stand alone Brown Sugar Fudge and is super good and creamy
In a pot melt together
1 cup of Butter
2 cups of Brown Sugar
1/4 cup Coffee Cream 18%
1 tsp Vanilla
once it has all melted and has consistant texture throughout
Bring to a boil.
Boil and stir for 1 minute, 60 seconds - Science backs this no shorter, no longer.
(Disclaimer - Science does not back that)
Transfer to bowl and mix in 4 Cups of Icing Sugar
Once blended together, Add in Cookie dough, mix well
Pour into 8x16 pan (8x8 may be too small - will be very thick fudge)
place in fridge let cool for a few hours
I cut mine into 1x1 pieces (roughly)

By adding the chocolate chips to the cookie dough, once you mix with the hot fudge they melted - fudge looks more chocolatey and less like cookie dough - but the flavour is unreal
If you want the chocolate chip crunch wait to add chocolate chips during the cooling phase, will have to mix in while cooler, but still soft enough to stir

When you say "1 minute, 60 seconds" are you saying 2 minutes or are you just reiterating no longer than 60 seconds?
It sounds delicious and I love to make fudge. Will have to give it a try.0 -

Okay I thought so. But candy making requires so much precision I wanted to make sure. Thanks for the recipe, it sounds awesome!0

Totally agree.
If I wasn't lazy, I'd make this fudge.
I'll print it anyway because maybe one day I won't be lazy.
But I do want fudge, will you mail me some? xD
