So I'm going out for Italian today. I have not been to an Italian restaurant before, so I'm not sure about the choices. I need help making tasty choices (calories are not an issue, not looking to diet today)

I'm not a big fan of meat, though I don't mind some ground meat as a part of a dish, but not dishes where meat is the main overpowering ingredient.

Here is the menu

If you have tried something similar I would love recommendations, based mainly on taste

If you don't want meat as the main part of the dish - don't order from the meat & fish section of the menu. This now leaves you with pasta as the main meal. So do you want red sauce, butter sauce, or cream sauce? Next step, do you want fish? or no fish? - cuz that seems to be a trend in the pasta section of the menu.

Otherwise, this menu is pretty generic. just pick what you want to eat
