can I ask my profile says I should eat 1200 calories I know I wont stick to that can I eat 1400 and still lose weight

This. It's impossible to answer without knowing your stats. If you're extremely short then 1200 could be your TDEE. Doubtful, but it could happen.
When you answered the questions on MFP to set your goal, did you set it to lose 2 pounds per week, 1 pound, or 1/2 pound? If you feel the calories are too low, then change your goal.0 -
It's hard to say without knowing your stats other than your age. As you're older, you need fewer calories to run your body, so 1400 could be too much depending on your height/weight.0
