last year i quit the last 4 months, but in february i was 458, and December first i was 319, my goal was to be under 299 by new years, but thats probably not going to happen (im still gonna try it)

anyway ive noticed this month particularly im slowing down getting tired. ive missed the gym like 6 times (more then any month this year) and its only the 20th.

i eat normally 1500-1800 cals, with a lot of protein, but im eating alot closer to 2,000 this month and its hard to cut back.

idk what to do, should i break for awhile, i do take alot of vitamins..my workouts include riding the elliptical for 75 mins, and then weight lifting for 30 mins, i even break twice in those periods. im just feeling awfully sluggish, i hope to one day be 275-260 range and even then theres no guarantee ill be ok with how i look.

i wanna know if theres any vitmains i could take to get my energy back or maybe something else that could increase my energy.

Change up your routine and try something new (exercise). Your body may respond better, giving you back some energy, and new things are usually easier to stay motivated.

I would take a break. One or two weeks of no exercise is probably what you need. After the first of the year you may feel rejuvenated. It sounds like your body wants to do that.

I took a diet break about two months ago, for two weeks. IT was fantastic! I didn't mean I stopped being conscientious, it just meant I didn't weigh and log. I will definitely do this again.

But you are doing so good. Really. Take a break, enjoy your accomplishments. Missing two weeks at the gym will not hurt you. I've done it and I have come back with more vigor and stamina. You are not going to put all your weight back on in two weeks :)

On the bright side, you're probably still losing weight. You may be trying to lose weight too quickly. You should always fuel your workouts.

You would still lose at a fair clip eating 2000 calories.

B complex vitamins and Bee pollen (if you're not allergic), can give you a bit of a boost in the energy department.

Eat at maintenance for two weeks, keep exercising. Will do you a world of good.
  • I've been struggling more this month as well. Shorter days, colder overall, more excuses to eat sweets, less motivated, hungrier... The reasons are numerous.

Personally, I would drop your goal to something that feels more manageable. Based on your weight loss thus far, you are likely losing more than 2 pounds per week. Why not cut back to 1-2 pounds per week for a few weeks?

Also, I agree with others who recommend that you switch up your workout routine. You could be burning out from it. Plus, the impact of your workout will reduce over time if you don't change it up every now and again.

Are there any classes you could take at your gym? I've found that I get the best bang forcmy time when I include kickboxing and bootcamp type courses into my routine. Of course, it also depends on what your preferences and end goals are as well.

    Hope this helps!

Are you sure that 1500-1800 calories is enough to really fuel you? Given what I see of your stats, it sure seems low.
