I'm upset...Small gain, but it's a big deal to me.

I just need a place to vent. I have been busting my *kitten* for 3 months to lose those last 3 pounds towards my first goal weight. When I finally reached it, I was ecstatic! But now, it's been a few weeks and I'll admit, I've been a little lazy. I haven't been working out as much as I should, but it's not like I drastically stopped everything.

I know it's not my nutrition. By now, I have totally turned my eating habits around. I would never feed my body the crap I used to. And I have had a couple slip-up days, but usually I am a very healthy eater.

But for some reason, in 2 weeks I've gained 4 pounds back. WTF!? How in the hell did I gain those last 3 stubborn pounds back plus one souvenir?

Just from being a little less active? What do I have to do to reach my ultimate goal weight? Run a marathon every day? I know it takes time. I have lost 35 pounds very slowly, which I am happy about, but at the same time. I am feeling very frustrated. I wish I was the type of person that just needs to workout to get out their stresses, but the opposite is true for me. When I feel stressed, I want to eat more junk and just be lazy around my house.

I know that I need to get back into it, but it is just so frustrating when things like this happen. 4 fricking pounds. In 2 weeks. After busting my *kitten* for 3 months to get rid of those last 3. UGH!

Are you sure you aren't just retaining water?

It's probably just water, but...have you recalculated your goals recently?
  • don't get too wrapped up in 4 pounds. post some pics and read the feedback to see where you really stand. I don't even look at the scale because it can be very frustrating.

If you have gotten a bit lazy about exercising then when you DO exercise your muscles are going to retain more water.
