Hi, since we lose muscle every time we lose weight and we all can't eat our exact allotment of calories every day, are we continually losing muscle and getting gradually fatter?

    No.
Muscle isn't a preferred fuel source.

You have enough glycogen for about two hours hard cardio.
You have a huge store of energy in your fat even at your goal weight. It's stored energy so you can use it later.

"since we lose muscle every time we lose weight" - exageration!

    no.

plus you can minimise muscle loss if you do weight loss right.

No. To minimize muscle loss, lift weights while losing.
