I'm just wondering how many people are out there that are going through the same thing. At first after pregnancy I was dropping pound and after pound. I went from 207 (highest weight in my whole life) to 172. Now it's been two years and over the last few months I've gained back a lot of weight and I am 192. Before pregnancy I was 157-160. Has anybody else been struggling to lose that pregnancy weight? Or have any of you lost it finally & have a before/after? How'd you do it?

Man, you just typed my life story. I'm still working on losing it. The one thing I don't recommend is having another baby before losing the baby weight from the first. I gained back a lot of my weight with the first so I decided I might as well have another while I was fat anyway. Rough pregnancy and I weighed as much 6 months after my 2nd that I did when at my highest weight pregnant with my first.
I'd like one more and I actually weigh less now than when I got pregnant with my first, but I need to lose 20 more lbs before I put my body through that again...clock is ticking...0 -
I don't know why I make it so hard.. I could've lost this weight 2 years ago after having my baby. I'm just afraid another 2 years will pass and I'll still be overweight, unhappy and depressed. It's like some days I don't want to even leave the house.. I don't want to go in public. I'm ready to lose this weight so I can be happier again. I just hope after all the sweat and hard work I'll be happy finally.. & I want another child too but I'm thinking about waiting 4-5 years on that.0

Hi. I had my first child in April. I dropped the weight while breastfeeding but once I stopped put all of it back on. The pregnancy was very difficult (mostly due to the doctors stressing me and appointments every other week) and I developed gestational diabetes. I am not getting any younger and while I do not wish to have another baby I would love to lose the weight and get to a healthy number to run around with my little one in the coming years.
Hopefully someone has some great tips on how to do so. Best of luck ladies!0 -
I'm in the same situation. I was only 105lbs before I first got pregnant in 06 & gained 50lbs during pregnancy, unfortunately didn't lose much after. I got pregnant again in 09 & was 146 after that pregnancy. Since then I've only gained tremendously! I'm currently at 183lbs, but good news is that I've lost 3lbs since joining MFP a wk & a half ago so I must be heading in the right direction! I was 186 when I started so the food & exercise tracking seems to be helping.0
