If I have an estimate of my VO2max (say from the calculator derived from the research discussed here), and I want to work at x% of that VO2max, can I use my heart rate as a proxy? How would I do that?
edit: never mind, I found another calculator that converts bpm to VO2 max and vice versa: http://www.shapesense.com/fitness-exercise/calculators/heart-rate-and-percent-vo2max-conversion-calculator.aspx
