What to do with left over food

If you are having people to lunch on Christmas Day, it is likely that there will be food left over. If you are like me, you will send people home with some of the leftovers, to save them from cooking for the next day or so.
However if you would like a few hints on what to do with your leftovers, have a look at the following website. It is designed for Australians, where 26th December if National-Leftovers-Day (Yes - I realise that other people refer to this date as "Boxing Day" - and only Aussies would have a "National-Leftovers-Day).
I keep the site bookmarked all year - as I find there are a lot of healthy recipes here too ...

If you are having time off over Christmas, I hope you have a relaxing and enjoyable break, and may the New Year be filled with health and happiness.

We usually do Christmas all over again on Boxing Day with the other relatives and take along our leftovers.0

Bubble and squeak for me!. Cut all the sprouts/ roasties etc and warm it up in a frying pan with a little cooking oil (I cook it till its crispy).
Add in some chillie seeds and some hot curry powder, jobs a good un..0 -
Interesting site!
I usually keep leftovers around for a day or two and then things go in the freezer for another time. I generally have a plan for how I am going to use things up before the holiday meal.0 -
Friday will be a day long open house party at our house so those leftovers will be served along with new foods and drinks we prepare, plus whatever guests bring.0
