Strange Craving

Has anyone ever craved water? I woke up in the middle of the night just craving water. I don't really know how to describe the feeling but I was craving water like someone would crave a sweet or their favorite food. I don't think it is dehydration because I used the bathroom shortly after and my urine was pretty clear. And I drink at least 7-10 fl oz cups a water every day. So has this happened to anyone else or was this a unique thing?

I find that if I eat something salty right before bed, sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night very thirsty, to the point that sometimes I'll gulp at least 12 oz of water. Could it be the same for you?

I'm not a doctor, but it sounds like the best craving one could have :)

My hubby gets that all the time. He brings a bottle of water to bed every night.

When you run the heater, it removes the humidity from your house. You're going to be more thirsty.

If by "crave water", you mean "get thirsty", then yes.

If you mean you have something making you drink lots of water when you aren't thirsty, I'd ask a doctor about that.

I think this might be it. I have been leaving the heater on too long. But I'll observe for a few more days to see.
