TRX Suspension Training

Hello , does anyone else here use the suspension straps? If so have you been able to find the caloric consumption of performing a workout with this equipment?

    I wear a heart rate monitor while I do the workout. It's not the most accurate since HRM are meant for a constant cardio state, but it gives me a rough idea of what I'm doing.

    I've read that 30 minutes of TRX training burns around 180-266 calories depending on the person. I've found this to be true for me.

    So why bother, it's like trying to tighten up spectacles with a claw hammer...

    Key is to estimate about 200 cals or so consistently, and adjust according to results. Nothing is going to tell you what you're burning, so you need to manage by trial and error.
