Polar Loop - Tracks Steps While Sitting

I just got a Polar Loop for Christmas. While I'm guessing there's a learning curve for the product, I've noticed in the few hours that I've worn the product, it is counting steps while I've been sitting. For the past 30 minutes, I have been sitting on the couch researching the product, and have somehow taken 76 steps in the process...

Has anyone else had this issue? Any idea/tips/tricks on how to remedy it? Thanks in advanced!

See if it has settings for dominant/non dominant wrist.

The downfall to most (if not all) wrist worn trackers, is that they will pick up random steps when your arms move even if your sitting.

During setup it asks if you wear it on your right or left wrist. I figured some arm movement would be misconstrued as steps, but it just seemed kind of high. I apparently took 200+ steps in my sleep lol
