Hi all, I have used MFP a couple of years ago but wasn't motivated with its use. It was to do with my own motivation, not MFP. I then begun again on 18 Aug 2014, since I have continued to log in for 130 days straight (up to today). It has worked for me this time in tracking my daily calories, nutrition consumption. Since Aug, I have shed 17.2Kg. My 'starting' weight was 117Kg and my ambition is to achieve around 80 -85Kg within one year. I have my own ideas/methods and ways to help my own weight loss & I'm happy to share with others if it helps, and any ideas shared by others will be appreciated. My one big advice for a effective and controlled weight loss - cut out the alcohol!

Thanks for your words of encouragement! I used MFP to lose almost 15 kilos. Unfortunately, I felt so comfortable with my "then" weight, that I dropped MFP - 15 kilos later, I'm back where I was when I started.
So back to MFP to make myself accountable!0
