Pre planning meals

Hello everyone

I have been doing the right kind of grocery shopping and pre planning my meals on the MFP app and everything.
The problem is that I am finding it super hard to get the food ready when I'm hungry and start eating whatever I find in front of me. I am doing the TurboFire workout program and need to get my protein intake in order.

Any advice on how I should have my food be ready when I need it to be ready?

P.S how dangerous are microwaves? I have been avoiding them like the plague my whole life because of my mother's incessant warnings against them.

Thanks

Try and plan easy to assemble meals for after workouts maybe? Or grab some veggies or fruit to snack on while you are preparing your meal? I usually plan my meals ahead of time and just start looking forward to them, then it is easier to avoid the snacking beforehand :)

I don't care what anyone says, the microwave makes everything possible. I highly recommend one pot meals. Veggie lasagnas, soups, stews, chili, casseroles. All of these can be made with good ingredients. I will make a double batch, freeze one and eat one. If I cook 3 times, we are usually good to go all week with lunch and dinner.

That sounds amazing, seriously would give me enough time to run errands and get my life in order. I just keep spending my days at work, eating, working out and sleeping! It's driving me insane especially when the scale won't move a bit and I know it's my fault.

    Thank you!

How are you planning your meals. That is my downfall I cant seem to figure out what to make when. What app are you using for that?

my fitness pal app, just to make sure I am adding the stuff that I have at home within the carb and fat limit. There are these amazing apps pepperplate and meal board as well but I never seem to have enough time for them.
