Hello All,

I'm hoping to get some ideas for a lifting program. I'm struggling with finding something I'll stick to. I can write my own, but then I get bored quickly (which doesn't make sense - how am I boring myself?). I would like a program that is runner-friendly because I run 15-20 miles a week, and I'd like to lift three times a week for 45 minutes or so. I tend to do better with kettlebells and dumbbells rather than machines or body weight.

I am a member of Gold's Gym and they have Gold's Fit, which is like Cross Fit but without the really heavy lifts. Has anybody tried that? I'd love to know what you thought of it.

Thank you for any suggestions!

Shannon

Have you tried Les Mills Pump? It's an at home DVD workout which uses great tunes to get you lifting. It's fun, you don't need weights on a bar, you can use dumbbells as I do and the music is cool. It's a great workout that you really feel afterwards.

Hey thanks. That's really helpful. I looked it up, and it's on sale right now, too!
