I will be going on an island vacation in a month and I need to lose at least 10 lbs before then. The problem is I am lazy and hate working our. I know I can't do it with food alone so need help getting good my butt in gear! Any tips on how to get started would be appreciated.
Thanks

My first tip is: don't give yourself a deadline. What is going to happen after your island vacation? It's great to have goals, but 10 pounds in a month, unless you're very overweight, is probably too lofty of a goal. Have a sustainable plan that involves eating at a deficit, otherwise you're setting yourself up for failure. Moving will help you create that deficit.

Find something you like doing, that seems less like exercise i.e walking, dancing swimming. The problem as you point out is that you are lazy and not persistent and to lose weight you need to be able to put consistent effort in. Unless you are disabled or there are medical reasons, then you cna start with walking maybe an hour a day. Losing 10lbs is easier depending on whether you have a lot to lose or not. If you are obese its easier to lose than if you are closer to target. Be realistic.

I would just ask myself if I wanted to lose the weight enough and if I did then id be doing exercise every day aiming for about a 300- 500 calorie burn per day.

If you cant be bothered to do things consistently then you dont want it enough.
