New year - New start

Where do I start?

I have downloaded several apps to my iphone (which would you say are free and the best?) to link to here there are too many to choose from. I need to lose 70lbs and start to eat healthier and exercise at least 5 times a week.

I am looking at low impact and to start off just squats, yoga, cycling and walking 10.000 steps a day.

    By all means exercise is great and good but don't rely on it for weightloss. Diet is the key thing here. Don't cut your calories too severely either. The less you have to cut them the easier it is and the more successful you will be in the long term. You can always adjust as you go along.
  • Want to loose bit of weight, have started before the new year to set the ball rolling. I am currently exercising 7 days a week for an hour and a bit each time by cycling around 13kms. Also eating well no fizzy drinks, chocolate, desserts etc and I am very excited to see where the year takes me. It really helps me to plan at least two meals of my day and record what I eat not only on here but also in a physical journal. Good luck everyone!
