Has anyone else tried this? Is it too good to be true? This is the nutrition information listed on the bag. I had it with spinach, mushrooms, and an egg with milk (like a lite carbonara).

It was fantastic. Consistency was very similar to "white spaghetti" and it cooked in 4 minutes.0

The red lentil pasta is amazing (and amazingly expensive.) All other kinds, steer clear.0

This was specifically the red adzuki pasta. My local grocery store carries a lot of the Explore Asia brand. This is the second pasta I have tried. The other one had less protein and fiber.0
-
Was the other brand Tolerant? I have never tried the Explore Asia adzuki bean pasta because I found the other flavors so off-putting. How's the taste and texture?0

It was great. I made a "Lite Carbonara". Spinach and mushrooms sautéed in Pam, with one egg and a drop of 1% milk to make the sauce. Topped it off with ground black pepper. Taste and texture were better that whole wheat or whole grain spaghetti and was more similar to regular white spaghetti. Tomorrow night I will try it with marinara sauce for a more traditional spaghetti dinner.0

If I see a bag, I'll give it a try. Thanks! It's less expensive than the Tolerant brand.0

I hope you like it!0

So I made the rest of the package for supper tonight and added 62g (1/4 cup) of Bertoli vodka sauce. It was delicious! Ground black pepper to taste. Texture was perfect too. Bye bye pasta!0

I've tried the mung bean ones and let's say... never again. Straight to the trash. So nasty. Sucks too, they had great macros.0

I've had the Explore Asian black bean pasta. It is so good! It was more chewy than regular pasta but I actually like it better.0

I used black bean spaghetti and it's pretty darn tasty. It has a different texture, but it wasn't off-putting. My husband and I really liked it.0

I also recommend the black bean Explore Asia pasta. Just be sure to cook it long enough. A lot of Amazon reviews weren't favorable -- lots of comparisons to eating rubber bands. It does go through a rubber band stage while cooking -- that just means it's not done.0
