If you're cutting out the 'bad' carbs, don't cut out on fats as much. I stopped eating refined carbs last May and it has only done well for me, but I still eat plenty of beef and pork and other sources of healthy fats, like cheese. Eating low fat while doing low carb can be really bad for your body because your body has nothing to run on at that point.
Also, there are tons of low-carb recipes out there online. Whenever I miss any of the old foods I used to eat, I just make the low-carb version instead. All I've really given up is the convenience of being able to pick up the phone and order a pizza-- now I'll just make it myself using naturally low-carb ingredients like almond flour. I save all the recipes I find on Pinterest, just find me there-- username's dreethree.
