Will Herbal tea help my sore throat? I literally drank a whole pot of herbal pineapple and chamomile tea. I have a 6 month old and I'm trying to get better fast. Any other ideas?

Honey will coat your throat and take the edge off the coughing, but only your immune system will kill your cold.
  • Throat coat is a good tea and easy to find. Almost all stores have it.

There's a really good herbal tea by Traditional Medicinals called Throat Coat. It's amazingly soothing and I *chug* it down when sick. They also make Breathe Easy which helps the throat a little bit, but really works some magic on chest congestion. You can usually find it at Safeway or Kroger stores in the regular tea section, although sometimes they have it in with the organic stuff.

Make some chicken soup with real stock off bones and lots of garlic.

Any warm beverage will soothe your sore throat. Advil or Tylenol will help with the pain too.

Yogi makes a tea for sore throats that does wonders.
Its title is Throat Comfort or something of the sort.
