I have been using MFP since Oct 2014 and have been regularly reading the discussion boards but always to shy to post - and because this is the first time in my life I have had to have a hard look at my weight and actually do something about it....damn 40's. So this is a real learning curve for me. So the stat's are 173cm, starting weight 72.1kg, current weight 65.7kg, goal weight 62kg. My biggest concern is what an I supposed to do once I get to my goal weight? I know nothing about maintenance and how much I should eat etc. I also need to tone my midsection. At the moment I walk between 3-5km per day as a set routine, plus just normal daily activity, but need some exercise tips that can be done at home to get rid of the belly flab. So there it is, 1st post and it is all out there. Please feel free to add me as a friend as this next bit is where I am going to need some guidance. Have a lovely New Year all ☺

Well, you'll gain it back when you stop eating at a deficit. (Aka switch your goal to maintenance.) Don't panic! And your weight will continue to fluctuate, so pick a goal range rather than a goal weight. For example, 61–63 kg.

    If you lost by making sustainable lifestyle changes rather than going on a diet, then maintenance is just like losing—except you get to eat a little more.

    To increase lean body mass (aka "tone"), you need weight training. Even bodyweight exercise, like yoga or pilates.

    Congratulations on your progress so far.
    For mainenance just reset your Mfp goal and it will give you a new daily calorie goal, continue eating 50-75% of your exercise calories back if you are using Mfp's calorie burn estimate.
    You would probably benefit from starting some strength training.
    Something like nerdfitness is a good starting programme which uses just your body weight.
    If you want to do some heavy lifting there are plenty of threads and people who could help explain how to start. I have no experience.
