Hi all. I am not new to the MFP app, ive been using it since my youngest son was a baby (he's 3 now) and I have lost 25lbs to date (I did lose more but ive gained some weight since I went off track :( ). My motivation is lacking lately so I figured I would join the forum as it may help with my motivation and staying on track :)

    Hi Kate, I lost all motivation in the last few months which I'm ashamed to admit. However I'm looking to be more active on here and know my friends will push me and keep me focused. I tend to find that if I read posts / post myself then my motivation / focus is high and I can keep on track. I hope that you're motivation is revived and can keep losing those pounds. I hope you don't mind, but I've sent you a FR, :smile:

    It's a great idea to add some friends to help support you. People who have similar goals or are at a similar place in life are good options. Of you can post a forum thread and prepare to be flooded :-) Best of luck staying with it!

    Hello and welcome to MFP! This forum is an excellent resource of information and has an amazing member base that is not only helpful but also motivating and supportive of each other. I have joined only three days ago and have been taking what I eat and my fitness seriously and have lost two pounds. I will send you a friend request on here and let's keep each other motivated and check on each other's progress along the way!
