I really need help with ideas on what to eat for lunch because I'm craving something bad and I cant give in AGAIN.

    Also, if you HAVE TO GO to fast food, go to Subway, order a kids sized turkey sandwich. 190 cals (just be careful with cheese and take a wheat bread) ;0)

    don't bring money with you. pack your lunch. then you can't go out to eat. garlic hummus and pita or veggies? fresh fruit saled? peanut butter and banana? yogurt?

    Even fast food places have healthier alternatives! :) My fave is Taco Bueno's skinny style chicken tortilla soup (148 calories)! Yum! Want a burger? Get one....just pass on the fries! Get a salad instead.
    We mentally crave the fast food items - especially after watching a ton of tempting TV ads! You can retrain your mind to crave healthier fast foods! I still have McDonalds......I just crave the southwest chicken salad instead of a burger and fries!

    Subway has some great, & "filling" options! Check ,on line, options close to you . Most have their menus on line and you can decide what you want ; what will work for MFP.

    I've been all about making my own at home Subway style lunch!

    I take some of my bakery-style multigrain bread and spread about .75Tbs ranch (or your spread of choice) on once slice. Top with chicken (or turkey or ham.... whatever). Then I just slice up a bunch of veggies: yellow bell pepper, cucumber, tomato, and spinach. Add a bit of salt and pepper and you're done!

    The calories are a little higher than Subway - but sodium is NOT. And it saves me money! All those veggies help fill me up really well. Today I also have some watermelon, carrots, and half a serving of ranch flavor-blasted Goldfish crackers. :laugh: Total of 436 calories.

    Chic Fila A is your best Fast food option if you must.

    The chicken sandwhich is very satisfying and it won't kill your macros for the day.


    CUT THE FRIES OUT THOUGH!!!! :) Eat an apple!
