Before and after pics: 5'6 female who lost 28lbs

Before was this summer at my brother's wedding... I had no idea I'd gotten so heavy, but I remember wearing spanx in August :( and caking on make up to feel pretty.

The after pic is a fancy Christmas party and even though I wish I had sucked it in, I'm thrilled at how my face arms look. I gained a little back for Christmas and I want to get down to 140 eventually but I just want to say thank you MFP!

    I'm 5'6" and am 150 lbs currently. Nowhere do I look even close to your after pic. Fab!!

    Thank you everyone! It took me 3.5 months including many slip ups/cheat days.

    WOW! You give me inspiration. I'm 5'6" also, & at almost 75, my body has gotten chunky. Need to get it back down. Thanks for sharing!

    Like everybody will tell you on this site: it's calories in vs calories out. I did a lot of high protein/ low carb days because it helped me feel fuller. I'm blessed with a highly active job so I was able to burn it fast. I used a smart phone step counter to keep me honest about my activity level.
