After a lot of hesitations, I have finally grown a pair and clicked on the community tab. I successfully went alone on a fitness journey two years ago (since the majority of my friends were either not supportive or unmotivated) and lost 40lbs. Today, officially, I gained it all back and am two fingers away from reaching my heaviest weight. I can do it again, but not without a support group this time. I'm 5'5' , 200lbs and am in grad school. My ultimate goal is to lose 50 lbs in 6 months (minimum) I want to progress slowly. I am determined to make time for my this. My biggest enemy is stress which triggers my tendency to (over)indulge in sweets (I could have a BA in chocolate and candy if that existed). I give awesome pep talks and am motivated. If that sounds like your cup of tea, friend me, and let's get this party started.

Welcome! I am new too. Stress is a trigger for many and sweets is a go to response. I also need to break that cycle.0
