Getting back on track? Help

Why is it so hard to get back on track when you have had a week or 2 or bad habits? Being stressed out, I didn't exercise like I should have and I didnt weigh, record, or anything with my diet. I did try to not over indulge on the food and snacks tho. Now I am back to working out with my trainer, but I haven't really gotten back to my own work outs on my days off with her. I am recording my food but not really weighing it. It's like I am doing this halfway. UGH Come on Misty and get with the program and get back to full gear. I gotta say coming off 2 weeks of super stress and emotions is super hard to get back into a rhythmm but I have faith I will get there, just hope it doesnt take me long.
Any one gone through this? going through it now? What helped you overcome it?
