Does anyone have experience with the new TomTom multisport watch thingy???
Looking in to getting a fitness tracker.... any suggestions??

  • I was eyeing it up, but it seems a bit limited in terms of compatible apps and interaction with other sites, so I decided to wait for the new generation of gadgets which should be out in the next few months - the Fitbit Charge HR looks promising, but there are quite a few on the way it seems. Check out DCRainmaker (Google it) for reviews of that sort of thing - he seems to know what's what. Hope that helps :-)

    TomTom will automatically upload to Runkeeper, MapMyRun/Walk/Etc, Endomondo, Strava, and save to your computer in TrainingPeaks native format.

    It depends on what you're looking to track and what activities you do. The original TomToms required an external HRM but did cycling and running with GPS, swimming (no HR avail) with stroke count.

    DCrainmaker did review the original and the newer TomTom Cardio with optical HR built in.
