I enjoy watching my friends feed and find it very motivating, but I'd love to take things to a more personal level. If anyone is interesting in emailing (via MFP messaging) a couple of times a week for mutual support/motivation/accountability, please drop me a line and let's do it!
A little bit about me: I'm a married woman who turned 50 in 2014. It was a very busy year in a good way, but that led to gaining back weight I'd lost and a slacking off in my exercise. I teach college online full time, so that means a lot of sitting in front of a computer. I have several pets, including a dog who loves to be my walking buddy. I belong to a health club and am flirting with the idea of doing C25K. I'd love to email back and forth with others who need a touchstone to help them stay on track with regular exercise and improving their eating habits. I want to exercise five days a week, and I have a Basis Peak so I plan to set some step goals with that. For food, I need to start with cutting back on restaurant meals. Since my husband and I are so busy, that's our big downfall. Once we get on track with eating most meals at home, then I'll get down to actual tracking.
Hope to hear from some fellow MFPers so we can get off to a strong start in the new year and share mutual support to make permanent lifestyle changes.
