Is it sane to go to the gym to burn 450 calories so I can have my 450 cal cheesecake tonight?

...is this normal? I've been eating so bad lately. But, today I wanted to get back on track and stay within my caloric maintenance. I really want my cheesecake...

Not any less sane than me starving myself all day so that I can consume a lot of alcohol tonight without going over my calories. My decisions make your gym for cheesecake decision look like child's play

I applaud your effort; do what you have to do to get it in.

Eat it! Go to the gym if you want (and it's still open? Mine closed at 4pm today) It's Wednesday, you have the rest of the week to add an extra 100 calorie burn to your workouts.
  • Yes! :) 24 hour gym. I just slide my card at the door to get access.

    Thanks for the replies, guys!

Just remember that you can be under on your calories but over on fat, sodium, etc intake. BUT, it's new years eve. Eat it and live life!

No, because cheesecake is really overrated. A couple of Good beers , on the other hand, is well worth the exercise.
