Arm workouts for ladies- three times a week ok?

Hi,
In terms of toning but not bulking, is it better to do arms two or three times a week for the ladies?
i've been doing 3 times a week, but wasn't sure. I have set myself a goal to be able to do "real" pull-ups- without assistance. :wink:

    I think that sounds fine. Week one I do 2 days of full upper body, three days of core and lower body, one day of rest. The following week I do 3 days of full upper body, 2 days of lower and core, one day of rest. I alternate weeks. I do 4-6 days of cardio, depending on my schedule. It's been working great for me.
  • I do 3x a week...my goal is to tone and define...I will be starting p90x this weekend in an effort to help me along. Good luck! happy lifting. :)
