    Write down the reasons why you wnat to lose weight and the advantages of weighing less.
    How much do you want them?
    Are you willing to commit to achieving them yes or no? that includes dooing what is needed and enduring some of the more boring parts? If you arent then you arent ready for it.

    Think about what you need to do, read up plan and prepare properly. You will not get to your traget weight unless you have enough desire and determination to deliver consistent deficits by burning more than you consume. Moderate what you eat and burn more through exercise.

    Have realistic expectations, it cna be hard work at times.

    Start with small manageable targets that breaks the whole thing down into more manageable steps.

    1. Learn to weigh your food.
    2. Log for a week
    3. Take a small walk for 3x a week
    4. Aim for 1lb weight loss by eating less and moving more.

    Increase your tragets as you hit them and need new ones. Keep reminding yourself why you wnat to do this for yourself. If you cant motivate you, then its really hard for anyone else to be interested enough to or for it to mean anything. If you return consistent deficits, then its perfectly possible that you cna lose your weight within 1 year if you apply yourself.
