One arm stronger than the other - lifting weights

Options
I've been lifting heavy weights now for a little over a month now. I've realized that I have pretty strong biceps but ridiculously weak triceps and deltoids.

So upon working on those particular muscles I've notice a pretty significant difference in strength between my left and right arm. My left arm is much weaker, which makes sense since I'm right handed.

I also noticed how tough it was for me to balance the barbell when I was doing bench presses. My right arm could easily lift while my left arm was a no-go.

Have any of you experienced this and if so what were your tactics for making them even? Doing more reps on the left arm?

My sugestion is to use dumbells rather than a bar and stop when your weaker arm gives out.

do as much as you can with the weak arm, but stop at the same number of reps for the stronger arm until the weaker one catches up.

Ok cool! Thanks for the suggestion. I'm going to try that.
