how do you remeasure your calorie intake?

I was doing great over the summer and then I logged during the fall but started cheating then slowly stopped logging and I am up 16 pounds.
I know my calorie intake should be a little higher.
Is there a way to remeasure it?

Reset your goals in your diary0

It says 1550 calories a day? Is that normal at 231 lbs?
When I was shedding weight it slowly went down and now that I have gained weight I haven't seen the number go back up.
I did reset my goals but when I lost a certain amount it would ask to remeasure my goals and then calorie per day went down.
Guess it doesn't really matter. Not to enthused about 1550.

If 1550 isn't enough, change the number of pounds you want to lose a week to a lower amount. Or, increase your activity level to the next highest setting. That will add a couple hundred calories a day. I think you are exactly right in thinking you need to eat a bit more in order to keep going, and keeping on is much more important than the rate at which you lose, IMO!

Did you change your weekly goal to lose per day? Adding a little exercise everyday will add some calories to your total intake.0
