I know a lot of people hate searching through a needle in the hay stack when it comes to logging. But I think I found something, and it's amazing !

Can you provide a link right to the spot on MFP instead of a screen shot? I cannot find the radio buttons anywhere.

??? It is a link to a Chrome extension. If you don't use Chrome it won't work for you.

Act like you're going to log your food, it should be there after downloading.

Thanks! That's useful! I've always wondered why MFP didn't just add those options.

It looks like it'll be great for things like 'chicken breast', but I typed in some brand names (Fiber One, Nabisco, Red Lobster) and when you screen out 'user submitted' entries, there is nothing left. So I guess MFP only enters raw food data and all the packaged food and restaurant food is there from users adding it? Which is ok, especially with the ability to sort on confirmation number.

For those you you who are understandably reluctant to click on these sorts of links, just google for "chrome extension myfitnesspal". There are actually a number of useful plugins. I suspect that firefox has a bunch as well.
