Foam roller question.

Any one have any suggestions on a good foam roller. I have a white one right now but I need one that is going to give me a deeper roll on my muscles.

Any variety of textured or ribbed foam roller will do the trick but good luck cos they're painful to say the least! (still haven't worked up to using one yet!)

White ones aren't too dense, if you're not up for GRID rollers or just want to stick to good ol' foam go for the black ones, if no black ones available then blue as those are MUCH denser than yours (doesn't look like it at first, but trust me!)

I have this black one. It is MUCH stiffer than the white ones (which my gym has)--basically no give at all.

If you are a cheap SOB like me, I picked up a 12" blue one at 5 and Below for $5. It's plenty firm.

Another vote for the black foam rollers. I have this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KAEJ3V8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (the 6x36 model) . Very little give. Haven't felt the need to get a knobby one yet, so can't really comment there.

I would love to try to knobby ones , but I think it might be a little too much for me. Also I heard some of the black ones get dented and then don't roll. Also the one made of PVC with foam wrapped around them the PVC might not be strong enough and break.
