Back Again - Exercise Advice Required.

Hey All,

I am back on here for the third time, I am currently around 20 Stone (280 lbs) (127 KG).

I have been weightlifting and I am enjoying it however I wish to lose the belly as well as tone up.

Can anyone recommend a good mixture of cardio vs strength training?

I am also doing a no junk food or alcohol for the first two months of this year to help detox and start my fitness journey off.

    Walking is great exercise and strong lifts 5x5 :) Eat at a calorie deficit and you'll lose.

    You have answered your own question. Mix of cardio and weight lifting.

    As to what to do, for cardio, find something that you'll enjoy. I like walking and running because I listen to music. You might enjoy dancing. There is all types of things that you can do.

    I walk after I lift. I've read many articles suggesting that HIIT is better if you want to lose fat.

    The only dancing I can do is the truffle shuffle :). Yeah I think I should really get back in to walking again. I am hoping to ride a bike to work soon once the work scheme starts.
