Hello,
Need to lose 80 pounds. Feel really overwhelmed about what to eat. Everything that can hurt does hurt, feet, knees, etc. I honestly can barely walk :( Feels like getting started is the hardest part! My doctor recommended this site so here I am!

    Good morning! I'm here to lose 100 lbs or more but to start I'd be happy with the 20 - 25 lbs gained over the last year. I had lost up to 75 lbs from my heaviest at this time last year but found 20 - 25 lbs of it again. Lol!

    Couple tips I've learned about what to eat is a lot of vegetables, especially greens, and lean protein. Cut back on carbs (bread) and limit dairy especially hard cheese. Lower fat cheese isn't so bad once in a while. And of course lay off the sugar if you can. And of course lots of water.

    I know what it's like to have sore feet and knees. I'm the same way. I try to keep them warm all the time and get out for a walk every morning. My dog makes me.

    I would love to keep chatting as I think we have similar goals. My real name is Sheila.

    Welcome! It will take some getting used to (there is a slight learning curve) just log your food honestly and listen to those who have gone before.
