Would having carbs at every mealtime effect weight loss?

Hi, I'm wondering if there is anyone who eats carbs with all three meals and whether it has any effects on weight loss? For example if I were to eat oats for breakfast, a sandwich for lunch and something with pasta/ potato for dinner would I be less likely to lose weight than if I were to have one meal that was something like chicken salad or steak and vegetables? I'm talking still using the same amount of calories each day, just in different form? Could I ask anyone's opinion in this please? Would be greatly appreciated, if any of what I'm saying makes sense!

That probably depends on each individual and things like Diabetes, PCOS, etc. Personally, I love carbs and eat them with Every. Single. Meal. I've lost 60 pounds. My body has no problem with carbs. Your mileage may vary.0

You lose weight by being in a calorie deficit. You may hold onto more water/glycogen due to the carbs, but you would still be losing fat.0

The bulk of my calories come from carbs, in the form of fruits breads and grains like oats. Yes I am losing weight.0

And, yes I eat them at every meal.

If you are a normal, healthy human, no single food will hinder your weight loss, assuming you are within a calorie deficit.

I have PCOS and have found I do better with low carb. BUT...I love them. That said, I usually skip out on breads but will have a potato or other carb as a side, and even sometimes make pasta for dinner. I never completely cut out carbs and have still lost 40 lbs even with a 'sensitivity' to them.0

no. Carbs at every meal does not effect weight loss unless you are eating more calories than you are burning daily.0

As long as you eat at your daily calories set for you, you won't gain weight. It won't affect your weight loss if you want to eat carbs at every meal. I do that and I've lost weight.0

You lose weight with a calorie deficit. Besides, I can't imagine not having carbs at all with a meal, veggies are carbs after all.0

Recent research confirms when you eat what doesn't matter. It's the total amount that counts.0
